The National Institute sponsors Discussion Luncheons in New York City and Palm Beach, Florida on issues of major importance. The next luncheon, which will feature Mr. Jon Parrish Peede, who was recently confirmed by the U.S. Senate as chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities, will take place on Tuesday, June 12, at the Cornell Club of New York.

For the last 27 years, the National Institute has sponsored Issues Discussion Luncheons in New York City. Jon Parrish Peede, the new chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities, will headline the 2018 luncheon, which will be held on Tuesday, June 12.

FLORIDA DISCUSSION LUNCHEON

Ambassador Bonnie McElveen-Hunter headlined the 28th annual luncheon of the Florida Chapter of the National Institute of Social Sciences on Monday, March 19 in Palm Beach. More than 100 guests heard her discuss “from success to significance” drawing on her personal experiences.
