The National Institute sponsors Issues Discussion Luncheons in New York City and Palm Beach, Florida on issues of major importance. The next luncheon, which will feature Dr. Bruce Stillman of Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, will take place on Monday, June 5, in New York.
NEW YORK DISCUSSION LUNCHEON
For the last 35 years, the National Institute has sponsored Issues Discussion Luncheons in New York City. The 2017 luncheon featured Dr. Bruce Stillman, the president and CEO of Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, who spoke about "Changing Human Genes: Choices for Humanity" focusing on CRISPR-Cas9.
FLORIDA DISCUSSION LUNCHEON
Ambassador Bonnie McElveen-Hunter will headline the 28th annual luncheon of the Florida Chapter of the National Institute of Social Sciences on Monday, March 19 in Palm Beach. She will discuss “from success to significance” drawing on her personal experiences.
