Securities Donation Procedures
Thank you for your gift of securities to the National Institute of Social Sciences. All gifts are 100% tax deductible to the extent permissible by law. The National Institute of Social Sciences is a nonprofit, tax-exempt charitable organization (tax identification number EIN 13-6001542) under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code.
The National Institute currently accepts donations of registered common stock and bonds and government securities only. We currently do not accept donations of cryptocurrency or any other unregistered securities.

After the National Institute receives this form and Fidelity Investments confirms receipt of the securities, we will issue an official acknowledgment letter to the donor. The letter will indicate the number and type of securities received and the date the record of ownership was unconditionally transferred to us. For tax purposes, the value of the securities donated will be an average of the high and low prices on the date of the transfer. The donor should consult their tax advisor for complete tax deductibility rules.
