Professor Fredrick Harris will discuss the recent polling of the 2024 election cycle, paying attention to the groups not often polled during election cycles as well as the usefulness of polling and what it can and can’t measure. This year’s Honorees are Jonathan F. Fanton, Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, and James H. and Marilyn H. Simons.

The Keynote Speaker will be Professor Anthea Butler, Geraldine R. Segal Professor in American Social Thought and Chair of the Department of Religious Studies at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition to Professor Butler’s remarks, each of the Grant winners will offer a brief description of their dissertation research program and take questions from the audience.
National Institute officers will also be in attendance to describe the Grants Program and other grant-making activities of the National Institute.
