On Thursday, August 20, 2020, the National Institute hosted its third virtual forum of the year. The topic was how Broadway and live theatre in America is currently coping with the pandemic shutdown. National Institute Trustee Angela Cason was joined by three theatre insiders for a lively, entertaining, and inspiring conversation about the future of the Great White Way.

  • Phil Birsh – President & CEO of Playbill Inc., publisher of Playbill

  • Nikki M. James – Tony Award-winning musical theatre performer and actress

  • Stacy Wolf – Professor of Theater and American Studies at Princeton University

You can watch and share the video of the event above or on the National Institute YouTube channel.
